Medical review
How we review
Health content deserves more than an editor's eye. Here's who checks our work, and what they check for.
Who reviews our articles
Articles that make health claims are reviewed by qualified professionals — sleep-medicine physicians, registered dietitians, and other credentialed experts relevant to the topic. Reviewers are named, and their credentials are listed on their profile pages.
What a review checks
- Accuracy. Do the claims match the current evidence?
- Safety. Are risks, interactions, and “see a doctor” moments clearly flagged?
- Balance. Is uncertainty represented honestly, without over- or under-selling?
- Sourcing. Is every claim backed by a credible, current reference?
What review is not
A medical review confirms that an article is accurate and responsible. It is not personal medical advice. Always consult your own healthcare provider about your specific situation.
