Evidence-based Every claim cited
Editorial standards

Our editorial process

The five steps every article goes through before it reaches you.

01

We start with the research

Writers begin from primary sources — peer-reviewed studies, systematic reviews, and guidance from institutions like the NIH and major sleep bodies — not from other blogs.

02

We write in plain language

We explain the mechanism, then the takeaway. Technical terms are defined the first time they appear. If the evidence is uncertain, we say so.

03

We cite everything

Every health claim links to a source. You should never have to take our word for it.

04

An expert reviews it

Before publishing, a qualified reviewer checks each article for accuracy and safety. Articles carry a visible “medically reviewed by” line and date.

05

We keep it current

Sleep science moves. We revisit articles, update them when evidence changes, and show the last-updated date.
